Transferring: Rank vs. Location?
Would it be easier to transfer (first year grades being equal) to a school such as UCLA from a higher ranked school, for example the University of Iowa, or from a geographically similar school, such as Loyola?

Knock, I'm going to have to ask you to refrain from giving legitimate advice until... September 27th. People who are worried about it this early on should be allowed to stew. It builds character.Knock wrote:Higher ranked school.themaninblack wrote:Would it be easier to transfer (first year grades being equal) to a school such as UCLA from a higher ranked school, for example the University of Iowa, or from a geographically similar school, such as Loyola?

Comparable class rank at a higher ranked school will afford better opportunities to transfer. This shouldn't factor into your decision even remotely though.
