Updating GPA
Should I apply in November with my 3.3x and update later, or should I wait until December grades come out when I will likely have a 3.4x and apply then? This is usually not until after Christmas, and I wouldn't be able to turn anything in until January. Will the law schools see my 3.3 before I can update?

Re: Updating GPA
There are positives and negatives to doing it either way. Applying early is generally recommended because schools have more open spots and more $$ available. However, yes, they will likely see your 3.3 before you have a chance to update.
I assume you're planning on taking the LSAT in October. Maybe let your score make the decision for you. In other words, if you score above median at your target schools, maybe think about going ahead and sending the application with your GPA as is, then updating in January.
However, if your LSAT is lower than expected, then maybe you'll want to retake in December, in which case it would be January before you'd get your new score anyway.......
