Anyone have stats? I do remembering reading that although the legal field was dominated by dudes, things started evening up come 2001. Is it mostly 50:50 male to female in LS in general today?

It varies from school to school. I know Vanderbilt is like 52/48 m/f. Berkeley is like 46/54

Small schools have a greater variance than larger ones. Stanford was 59/41 male this year, but the year above us was 55/45 female.
