accepting your scholarship
Why do law schools want you to accept your scholarship separately from your acceptance to the same law school? I am confused by this. Any thoughts? Thanks

Re: accepting your scholarship
Who knows maybe some people might decline the scholarship. How does this confuse you , seems rather simple to me. Accept the school and then accept the scholarship. ??

The question is why aren't they one and the same and if there was some legal significance to accepting a scholarship on its own. Probably not but I thought it was odd that you have to do it independently from the acceptance to the law school.

I know some schools require you to "accept" your scholarship on the financial aid website along with loans.

well, if someone doesn't accept then they have time to give scholarship $$ to others before the deadline.
