So I've narrowed my schools down to two and am trying to negotiate a bit more $$ out of one or both. I recently learned a research paper I did is going to be published in an Undergraduate Journal here at my UG. Obviously mentioning this could only help my chances but I'm wondering how I should go about notifying them w/out sounding like a douche? Send an updated resume and send something to make sure they notice my changes or simply email and let them know I've now been published?

Re: Notifying Schools of New UG Journal Publication
I sent an email noting my new publication in the same email I noted a GPA increase from fall grades. I got a "thanks for the update" email from a dean at a T14, so I don't think it makes you sound like a douche.
