Should I send a second LOCI to FSU? Forum

I am on hold at FSU right now and they are my top choice. I already sent in 1 LOCI around 02-27-11, I am debating sending another one in. The only real thing I could add to this letter is the fact that FSU is my top choice. In the last letter I expressed my desire to go to FSU law but I never stated that they are my top choice. I have also sent in updates to my app, like job promotions. I am really hoping to hear something before April 5th because otherwise I will need to put down a deposit to second choice.

If anyone can think of anything else I can do I would really appreciate it

Is this really your advice or are you trying to be funny? Im on hold and just waiting to hear something. How would taking time off, retaking the LSAT, and waiting a year help with that?

Hell, no. Nobody will ever look down on you for being proactive. With your numbers, you're probably one of the higher ranked applicants on FSU's waitlist. Let them know you want to be there.

EDIT: BTW Are you w/l or held?

Send in another one emphasizing the why they should take you. If you really, really want FSU and can't get then take a year off, as much is it would suck, and retake/reapply. Best of luck to you!

What are your numbers? What's your second choice? Why the April 5th deadline? Scholarship?

I have a LSAT 161, Bioengineering undergrad gpa of 3.0, Grad gpa of 3.56(Molecular Medicine). I am held not WL. The April 5th deadline is because I do not want to pay multiple deposits

My second choice is either UK, American, or Chicago Kent. Prob UK because they gave me 12K a year which comes out cheaper than the 20K kent gave me
