Quick "Retaking Courses" Question

On my transcript, the original attempts for courses I've retaken show up with a grade and zero credits. LSAC website says my transcript must have both the grade and # of units for the original attempt in order to be calculated into my GPA.

Is this true? I've read mixed reports on here.
