Summer School Question

Post by CattyPake » Wed Mar 23, 2011 1:11 am

This summer I'm working and thinking about taking some summer classes to boost my GPA. Would it look suspicious if I took easy classes or classes outside of my major?

My GPA is around 3.6 and I'm a history/philosophy major. I'm considering taking art classes... my softs do reflect a legit interest in art but would schools prefer to see something related to my majors? Or does only GPA matter?

GPA matters, as does major, but individual classes do not. Taking easy classes to boost GPA is fine, unless you've already graduated in which case it's worthless.
