If you accept scholly money are you bound to the school?
If you send in your money then accept a scholarship are you now bound to this decision? I am on the WL for a number of schools so I am wondering if I accept a scholarship from a lower ranked school before the April 1st Deadline ( most schools are Aprl 1 or 15th) then get the call from a WL school can I switch my choice? Is Scholly money legally binding?

Are they asking you to put a deposit down for scholarship money or just fill out a scholarship application? Nowhere have I heard that scholarship money is binding but if you really are worried about it you should really call the schools (it won't take that long, even for 10).trayball23 wrote:Because I dont know where I am going and there are like 10 schools I would have to call

No it doesnt bind you. If you can afford to put down 10 seat deposits than by all means go ahead. However, the second seat deposit is generally considered a comittement and if you put down multiple first deposits you will get calls in June from various law schools asking which one you will be attending.

No I will be sending in at most 2 seat deposits but I wam wondering if after I send these in and accept schooly money from a school.. bc you have to accept the scholly separate from admission... If I then get accepted off a WL am I free to go to it..

It depends on the school. IIRC, there are a couple of schools which require you to withdraw from everywhere when you submit a seat deposit/accept a scholarship. So calling the schools really is TCR.

Do I get to keep the scholarship offers from all the schools that I will not attend?

Yes. But you will need to contact each school to let them know if you'd rather receive the funds all at once or in monthly installments.gbpackerbacker wrote:Do I get to keep the scholarship offers from all the schools that I will not attend?
