Suggestions for what to do if I'm held at my #1 choice Forum

So I was held this week by my 1st choice school.

Already air mailed a LOCI. I called and asked if they'd take extra LORs... the lady who I spoke to seemed to suggest that I shouldn't send any more.

Is there anything anyone would recommend I do? I hate to sit around and twiddle my thumbs...

can you visit? If so, definitely drop by the admissions office and make your presence known. Not obnoxiously of course... when I went to visit my first choice, where I'm also on hold, they had a sign-in sheet and I chatted with an admissions officer for a few minutes.

Then I would sit in on a couple classes, especially with professors you're interested in working with. Not sure if that will do much for you, but it couldn't hurt...

If someone does this, do you think one should call in advance to try to set up an appointment?
