Too soon to send another LOCI???
I applied to UPenn in early January and visited in early February and sent a LOCI shortly thereafter. Would it be alright to send another one? Also, would be it be alright or appropriate to mention the peer schools that have already accepted me?

Re: Too soon to send another LOCI???
P.S. Although I've been admitted to other T13s (including a Penn peer) with some money, and gotten big dough from some T20s (including Vandy and Texas), I would saw off both of my arms and my dick to attend Penn at sticker. I'm starting to get antsy and fear that my 169 LSAT and 3.9+ GPA may not be good enough for them

Call them and express your interest and ask them if sending an LOCI once a month would benefit you. You don't want to run the risk of annoying them. Some schools advise you not even to send LOCIs right away, rather tell you to wait until a specified date after they've finished their first round of admissions.Rory1987 wrote:Anyone with some more thoughts/opinions?
Also, if you send one every month, it will only get repetitive. They already know how much you want to go there. They get it. If you've already updated ur application and all of the info they have on you is current, you may want to hold back. Also, if you keep on sending LOCIs, you run the risk of them taking longer to re-evaluate ur app.
I've been waitlisted at 5 schools so I've become all too acquainted with the LOCI process. PM me if you're interested in reading one of mine. I'd be happy to send it to you.
Best of luck, UPenn is amazing. One of my LORs is from an IR Prof there and she loves it. Hope you get in.

And should I mention other offers?

Not sure on that one! My offers, even scholly $$ weren't worth mentioning so I didn't. You should research the individual school, the threads in TLS for the particular school ur interested in on that one, just to make sure you don't put them off. Be careful of your wording too if you do mention ur other offers. Something to think about though, with ur numbers, they probably know you have plenty of offers already on the table. I'd be more concerned with making it clear to them why they would be luck to have you.Rory1987 wrote:And should I mention other offers?
