I think it might depend on whether you took a late LSAT. Or not. I don't know. If you think you'd want to go for it, pay the $12 and give it a shot. Who gives a shit about selectivity? Just don't get your hopes up.

Happens. I got one from Columbia beginning of February (which was VERY interesting considering LSP had me as a DENY). I'm definitely not holding my breath, but I figured it was worth $12. Most likely a waste of money, but not the egregious waste that $80 would have been. I say again--if it's for a place you'd actually go to, why not? It's only $12, just don't get your hopes up.

I was waitlisted at Maryland and I have a lower LSAT so there is definitely hope for you! I really do feel that Maryland is not all about the numbers.

It's to boost stats. Also, if Maryland is kind of a reach for you then I would suggest you retake and reapply next year.

if you decide to reapply and were looking at maryland, i think you can email them next year and say you got a fee waiver this year and ask for another. i did this with a few schools and they all granted me waivers.
