I think it might depend on whether you took a late LSAT. Or not. I don't know. If you think you'd want to go for it, pay the $12 and give it a shot. Who gives a shit about selectivity? Just don't get your hopes up.lawschool12345 wrote:a school that is kind of a reach for me, u maryland sent me an email offering me a fee waiver

Re: fee waiver this late?
Happens. I got one from Columbia beginning of February (which was VERY interesting considering LSP had me as a DENY). I'm definitely not holding my breath, but I figured it was worth $12. Most likely a waste of money, but not the egregious waste that $80 would have been. I say again--if it's for a place you'd actually go to, why not? It's only $12, just don't get your hopes up.lawschool12345 wrote:that score is from october, which is why i got the email and was confused

I was waitlisted at Maryland and I have a lower LSAT so there is definitely hope for you! I really do feel that Maryland is not all about the numbers.lawschool12345 wrote:yea im probably going to do it, thanks for the advice, i just figured it was really late and my numbers are like barely waitlist for them

It's to boost stats. Also, if Maryland is kind of a reach for you then I would suggest you retake and reapply next year.

Probably. But the $12 is worth paying to avoid the lifetime of wondering...dpk711 wrote:It's to boost stats.

And when you become the CEO of a Fortune 500 company you HANG that rejection letter IN YOUR PALATIAL OFFICE. I don't know if offices can be palatial, but if they can...lawschool12345 wrote:TRUE STORYArthurDigbySellers wrote:Probably. if you decide to reapply and were looking at maryland, i think you can email them next year and say you got a fee waiver this year and ask for another. i did this with a few schools and they all granted me waivers.
