Leveraging/Negotiating Scholarship question

Post by salvage » Tue Mar 01, 2011 4:24 pm

I'm trying to come up with a tactful way to negotiate a bit more merit aid from a few schools I've been accepted to, but I'm having some trouble writing a letter. I'd also like to have them either remove or lower a rather frightening GPA stipulation. Could someone either post or PM me a template they've successfully used when communicating with a school? I've read the threat regarding leveraging aid, but I'm still not sure how to word it.

Thanks!

If you haven't read these, then do so! I'm drafting mine right now.

Thanks, I had already read the first one, but the second one was very helpful. Still, if anyone wouldn't mind PMing me their negotiation letters/emails, I'd really appreciate it. I'm also trying to decide if I should ask them to remove/lower the stipulations.
