Letters of Continued Interest
When do you send these?
Only after a hold/waitlist?
What if you are held, and follow all the requests in the held e-mail, but continue you to wait?
What if you are just waitiing a long while, but haven't been held/waitlisted?
What if you are very proud of your accomplishments since you've been waiting?
Wanted to get some thoughts and opinions.....

Re: Letters of Continued Interest
Quick question, is it ok to email a LOCI in or should it be mailed?

It's ok to email. I got off a waitlist only emailing. It might be different at different schools. You should look at the information you get with your information about being waitlisted, sometimes there is a specific place to send LOCIs. Good luck!

Re: Letters of Continued Interest
About a month ago I sent a LOCI to a school where I was waitlisted. I've read that I should now send an e-mail about every month to express my continued continued interest. My situation hasn't really changed since last month. What should I say?

I wouldn't feel obligated to do once a month until after the first seat deposit due date for the school, unless you have something strong and significant to add. Until they get a significant volume of withdrawals, there won't be much movement on the waitlist.

This. Wait until a few weeks before the first seat deposit to start your monthly emails. No sense sending it now, as schools are not going to look to the waitlist until deposits are due.8ballistic wrote:I wouldn't feel obligated to do once a month until after the first seat deposit due date for the school, unless you have something strong and significant to add.
