Addendum for starting organization on campus?

Post by jazzmastersc » Thu Feb 03, 2011 12:24 am

While procrastinating before submitting my last few apps I had an idea for an organization/event to start on campus next year as a 1L. Anybody interested in a moot court/intramural basketball biathlon? Thought it might be a good way to meet classmates and have some friendly competition. Is this idea worthy of a supplemental essay to some of my reach schools? Maybe boost my chances for $$$ at target schools? Would a "Why X" essay make a better addendum?

Ok maybe the essay is a bad a idea, but imagine the possibilities... you could make some great rules:
"For each person over 6'2'' on a team's roster, the opposing team may ask a lay witness to give an expert opinion without objection."

1. No offense, but I don't think the idea is very good
2. PLEASE don't write an addendum on this...I wouldn't even mention this until I was at the school

This sounds awesome! I would do it. IMO tailoring your Why X essay around it would probably be the best idea.
