Disappointed with Admission Index...

Post by lovejopd » Fri Jan 28, 2011 1:32 am

I should confess my ignorance of law school admission process.

I believed in what Law school generally says 50/50 "EQUAL" weight of GPA and LSAT...I was stupid, naive, and gullible...

All years I spent to boost my GPA to 4.0 seem to turn into cigarette ash...

It was only 20%...LSAT rocks...

Yes, I don't like LSAT...I am jealous of you guys who nailed a victory in beating up LSAT animal.

Not a SINGLE law school. It was stupid assumption of GPA "AND" LSAT. I am sorry if I give you any trouble...

um, no trouble here. You said you felt naive and gullible. That's as if somebody had misled you. And I've never heard of a school even coming close to saying that.

But to answer your question about schools that value GPAs more than others... I believe you called them GPA whores...

Go there, and review the column towards the right --> LSAT/GPA Ratio. The lower the number, the more they value the gpa in comparison to the LSAT. Don't take Berkeley as favoring a gpa to mean that they don't care about the LSAT; you won't get in there with a poor LSAT either. You're probably not getting in there with under a 165.
