LSAT drop, Oct -> Dec

Post by Eyetalian » Wed Jan 26, 2011 4:13 pm

My first score was 5 points higher than my second. Will I get dinged significantly or will schools mainly consider my initial score of 168? (I really wanted to crack 170).

Probably better that my first score was the higher score, no?

You'll get differing answers on this one. I'd personally write an addendum explaining why test 1 is more representative over test 2.

Ideally you'd take the test once, and if not then you would have the second test be the higher one...but I know many people are in your situation and it can be (and is) overcome.

They'll use the higher one when considering your app. That's the one they have to report, so it's the one they care about.

Also it deepens where you have applications to.
