Are admission stats from 2009 a good barometer for 2011?
I'm asking this because TLS and LSAC's website, often use LSAT scores and statistics from 2009. So when I compare the statistics of people of 2009 to myself, is that accurate enough for me to help predict my chances at a certain school?
i am also aware that many school's programs have changed over the years. For instance, Fordham went from 160 to 80 students in its part time program (a fellow tls'r told me that) which added to its selectivity.

Only part time programs have seen drastic class size changes.lawfreak wrote:I'm asking this because TLS and LSAC's website, often use LSAT scores and statistics from 2009. Check out http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com for up to date (albeit self-reported) stats. You can also get median GPA/LSAT and other figures directly from law school websites themselves.

I would think they are. Except for a handful of schools who made a big leap on the list, most schools have consistent number. This is more apparent the further up the list the school lands.

i have nothing to contribute to this thread except to ask why you used a barometer as your instrument of measurement...? why not just use the word "measure"?

I apologize. I thought I was posting to college level people with an IQ that's greater than a jar of mayonnaise.

No, maybe an intellectual like yourself can help me with that. After all, the hidden meaning behind my words is too much for me to grasp.

Are you so aspie that you don't understand the basic cliches used in conversational English or are you just making a shitty attempt at trolling?glitched wrote:loll - barometer measures atmospheric pressure. not the relevance/usefulness of admission statistics. good job college grad.

basic cliche in conversational English? I've never used it. But oh I'm just one person - not a representative sample of course.
And I was just making a slight jab at the OP, nothing enough to warrant an insult from him.
