Chicago Law??

Is Chicago casually referred to as Chicago Law, the same way YLS is referred to as Yale Law?

I thought so until I met several self-identified "Chicago Law" students who are attending Chicago Kent. Interestingly, The John Marshall Law School is also known as "Chicago Law School." In total, there are six Chicago law schools

Most people in Chitown I know casually refer to Chicago as U of C, such that it sounds like UFC. Sorry if that doesn't help much.

I've never heard anyone refer to it that way.

Yes, it's true that JMLS refers to itself as "Chicago Law", perhaps as a bid to either make itself seem like the most prominent LS in Chicago or to be confused w/ Univ. of Chicago...
