Not another Facebook topic!
Sounds like one of the trickiest parts of applying is telling your #1 school you're interested but need more financial aid, without either lying, or seeming to lie. If it's really true (and it makes sense) that they Google accepted applicants, would you post some status like "In at Fred and Tom's House of Seafood and Law School, but I can't attend unless they match NYU's offer!" ?

a better way would be to create a "blog" where you subtly mention it.

Only flaw I can see is if you have your profile on FB to "only friends" for wall posts, then they won't see it (and why would you have your wall posts open?!)
On the other hand, you'd be insane to go to FTHSLS at sticker, so you might as well try!
