LOCI - Only if Held/WL?
Is it okay to submit an LOCI if you've been UR for 2 months or so?
You haven't been held, but it seems all the factors that apply to being held (you have other acceptances, but are still interested) would apply here. Conversely, it can be annoying to them, I'd imagine with everything they need to read.

1) Have others who submitted around/after you already received decisions?
2) Have you submitted a "Why X" yet? This might be better than just an "I'm still interested" note.

Yes, and no, because it wasn't offered as a possibility.

I've been held for further review at one school but plan to give it another week or two and do a visit/loci bomb

A lot of schools are receptive to "Why X" essays even when don't specifically mention them in the application. What school is this?

It's multiple schools. I have the numbers, and my professors really liked me and related to me on a personal level, but I got in a lot of trouble with my college so I can see why they're taking so long. It makes sense, especially according to what I was told I should expect. But I just don't want them to think because School X gave me a full ride, I don't still fantasize about them on cold winter nights.

similar question:
I just went complete at a school I am very interested in. They gave me a fee waiver, and I'm well above their 75% for LSAT and in their 25-75 range for GPA (I'm a splitter). I don't want them to think I applied as an after though b/c of the fee waiver or b/c it was a safety school, though.
Would it be wise to go ahead and submit at "Why x" essay to them so they know I actually want to attend?

You should include that in the letter of interest that you have to send to them anyway.crit_racer wrote:similar question:

uhhh what letter of interest? I don't see that requirement anywhere...
I'll write one anywyas b/c i want them to know I'm interested, but is there a requirement I'm missing? It's not in the requirements list on the status check page

On the topic, how do you send in a LOCI or "Why X" letter and make sure that it gets attached to your account? I loved being able to use the LSAC interface to keep everything together. Is there a way within that setup or does one have to resort to snailmail?
