Common Information Form?

Post by gobuffs10 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:03 am

Do I need to fill this out? It's above every application, so it doesn't seem to be a requirement of particular schools. I figure I'm sending a resume anyhow. Did you all do it? Thanks.

You can fill it out but the more you put in = the more chance for it to get jumbled on the app and youll have to hand edit everything which is kind of annoying.

The schools don't get the common info form - it's just used to input... common info... into the real applications.

Sandro has it right: the more you enter, the more messed up it gets.

Don't use this. It will only cause careless mistakes and is not necessary or required. It's just there for convenience, but I think it's more of a disservice. For example, I used it and on some of my dates it lists them as "05/2005" instead of "05/05" or whatever format is preferred by the school.

Thanks for the info. It will be promptly disregarded.
