How many schools have you applied to? Forum

I lost count, but it's around 45 and counting. Spent about $900 so far...

I'm a heavy splitter and I figure I might as well invest now

45 is an absurd amount. Do you have any location/ranking preferences?

TBF, I think I applied to way too many schools (25), so that biases my response.

Only 5, but that's because of fee waivers. I've already decided where Im going, just applies other places for scholarship leverage.

10, although in hindsight it should have been 3, maybe 4. Fee waivers help.

(And no, I'm not referring to the holy trinity of Cooley, Ave Maria, and FL Coastal)

14. 1200 so far with everything. i know i should stop, but everyday I don't hear back I want to apply to more. and it has only been 5 weeks since my first one was sent.

i know exactly what you mean and it's been just a little over a week since i've sent mine.

but man, that's pretty pricey for just 14 apps. No waivers?

I haven't applied yet, but I had a list of 22 schools that I was really going to apply to that is now at 14. 3.37 / 168. I'm crying every night trying to get my PS respectable. I want to send out apps by Friday... though I keep on saying that

I applied to 15. Everyone keeps telling me I'm crazy and OCD, but clearly I'm not alone. It's those stupid fee waiver emails that get me everyday! Makes me want to apply to more.

I was originally going to do 15, but after I thought about some of the schools, I realized I wouldn't be happy if accepted there. So, I narrowed my list to 10.
