Do some schools simply not put "accepted" or "denied"? And just put that the decision was sent via mail, or does this status seem to mean that you've been rejected?

I guess it's kindda good that they "care" about your feelings and would rather tell you via letter than on status checker, but then why even have the status checker at all?stowhat wrote:Neither, I believe. Some schools don't release their decision on their status checker.
Edit: For the schools that I applied to that used this status, it meant the letter was mailed - I received the letter within a few days.
It does actually.Cmart050 wrote:FSU gave me that exact status and I was accepted fwiw

Eh, the status checker still helps to know if your app is complete, that the decision has been made and that your letter has been mailed (rather than you just wondering if you're ever going to get a decision). I agree that is sucks that they don't just tell you though.TOMaHULK wrote:I guess it's kindda good that they "care" about your feelings and would rather tell you via letter than on status checker, but then why even have the status checker at all?
Not BC. Looking for school specific thread now...Bumi wrote:If it is Boston College, you didn't get in. Find the TSL thread for your school and see if admits are getting emails or calls rather than just mails.
Do you think it matters what fees are listed under your status checker? Some say it matters and some say that not all schools use that feature on the status checkers.sonervous88 wrote:If it helps thats what NYU did and i got accepted. try not to panick

Basically-if I got in would it necessarily have "seat deposit" listed under the fees box? Note: mine's currently blank there.

Yep, I'll probably get in the mail once I get home from work. Whatever the decision is, I'll certainly post (I know the feeling). Even if I don't get it, I'll make a post later tonight.Bumi wrote:You need to post on here what the result is. I'm following this decision more closely than I'm following some of my own.
