Worth an addendum?

Post by LS-boundNYC » Fri Jan 07, 2011 1:08 pm

My college doesn't rank, but by a bit of math and logic, I am able to prove I was in the top 10%. One student graduated summa cum laude, and 5 graduated magna cum laude. I was one of those 6 people in a class of 64 members.

Since some apps ask for ranking, would this be an appropriate addendum? Or just a stupid idea?

Thanks for your thoughts!

I don't think I would include this as an addendum, but it is certainly worth mentioning somewhere.

I suggest you put it in your resume.

Agree about the resume.

Well...my graduating class had 64 people. The school is about 400 students now.

I originally thought about my resume, but the problem is that if someone called the college to verify it, they would not get an answer. Since the class isn't ranked, the registrar cannot provide proof. The full explanation wouldn't really fit in on a resume, so an addendum was my next thought...
