Applying Full and Part time to same school
Is there any disadvantage to sending applications for both the full and part time school of the same law school?

I know some schools let you apply to both programs by checking a box on the app. I know USD has the option on their app

You can apply to both at Georgetown simultaneously. Dean Cornblatt said to only do it if you were willing to attend the part time program. The biggest disadvantage I can see is if you are a borderline applicant it may give the admissions committee an out. That is, instead of seriously having to think about whether or not to admit you to the full time program they'd just go ahead and quickly admit you to the part time program. Does this make sense?
Bottom Line if you're willing to attend part time, go for it. Don't however, do it as a way to increase your chances to the full time program.
