Noticed a mistake in a PS i submitted...

Post by RAB » Sun Jan 02, 2011 5:02 pm

I just realized I used a quote from someone in a PS and used their name twice and the second time I missed a letter in the middle of the persons name....do I send a new PS, which will draw attention to the mistake or hope they don't realize?

I seriously wouldnt worry about it, unless it was someone famous and obviously misspelled, they spend less than 5 minutes reviewing your entire file so the are speed readin that thang and will not notice. Also everyone makes mistakes on their apps; i did and have made it into a reach school of mine

Don't worry about it. Like the poster above said, they are speed reading your file. A small error like that is unlikely to be noticed. You would draw attention to it by sending in a correction.
