Being denied a fee waiver--bad sign?

Post by canes » Thu Dec 16, 2010 6:28 pm

I wrote to a school I should be a very strong candidate at (not YP strong though) asking for a fee waiver and was promptly denied. Is this worrisome for admission there?

No. Some schools are just cheap. Also, schools usually have a certain amount that they give out and this school may have reached its limit.

If its a school that youre genuinely interested in apply since you say youd be a good candidate.

Good luck!

PS: UM sucks. :D

FSU denied my request for a waiver. Accepted me a week and a half later.

Doesn't mean anything at all.
