Sending an addendum after application has gone under review?

I'm assuming this is useless, but does anyone have any information to the contrary?

Depends upon the content of the addendum; for example, if simply begging for admission because every other law school to which you have applied has rejected you, then do not send, but, however, if you are updating a criminal matter or received a significant honor, then send it.
