In at Berkeley? Forum

I got an email saying I'm in at Berkeley. I just applied a week and a half ago though, so it's crazy fast. Should I call just to make sure I didn't receive it by mistake? I had a friend of mine who accidentally received an admit email from Berkeley a few years ago so I am crazy skeptical.

Congrats! I also got the email today, along with an "Admitted" update to my status checker. Maybe they just haven't started making phone calls yet today.

When did you go complete, like 11/25? A week and a half is CRAZY FAST. Did you have gpa and lsat above their 75 or something??

I submitted last Friday. The 26th I think. 167/172 retake and a 3.86 gpa. Lotsa softs though.

so, in essence, a 172/3.86, which, off the top of my head, puts you above both of their 75s, I believe. Moreover, if you had lots of softs, that, of course, bodes well also.

I guess I'm not TOO surprised, then, by such a quick acceptance with your numbers and allegedly impressive softs, but that's still really, really quick.
