law school spam
I'm sure a lot of people on this site get e-mails from admissions departments frequently. Do you respond to the e-mails from schools you have no intention of applying to ( and they e mail you constantly trying to get you to apply), or just delete the emails?

Ignore and delete is the professional thing to do, and the best way to make sure you don't earn that special "0L on ATL" status.

My main complaint are these huge viewbooks I'm getting from places I'm just... not going to. I'm sure there are lots of students who really enjoy going there who will go on to do great things. But I have a 99th percentile LSAT score - I am not going to your weird school in Texas just because you send me a glossy viewbook.
Just stop killing trees, basically.

I have now received THREE viewbooks from the school I'm planning on attending, two of them well after my app was complete and submitted.ahduth wrote:My main complaint are these huge viewbooks I'm getting from places I'm just... not going to. I usually just delete, but if some start with [Are you there, L?], I read it to see if there's a "remove me from this list" link I can click. So far I've done that for 3 or 4.

I delete, but I am so so so tempted to respond to some of them.

I got a really creepy one titled, "Did I find you (my name)?" And then when you open the e-mail, the message says. "...I hope so" and then goes in to their pitch.
