GPA Addendum? Yes or No?

top 50 UG, econ major, cum gpa: 3.5

freshman: 3.1
sophomore: 3.8
junior: 3.6
senior 3.5

one of the above does not fit the pattern. thing is it wasn't a major illness or family matter. i was just adjusting to college and taking hard science classes b/c i was good at science in high school and was contemplating med school.

i wasn't even thinking about writing a GPA addendum but i realize my GPA is low as i'm trying to edge into T14 if possible. 165 october LSAT, retaking next week.

so, pray tell, is it worth it? if so, advice?

side note: everywhere i read on LSN and on the chances board, everyone writes "strong upward trend" is this something that they hope adcom notices or does this mean they probably wrote on or mentioned "strong upward trend"?

no dont write it. Admissions understand that freshman year is a big adjustment period, and many students have to find out their best time/ fun and study management technique the hard way.
