Signing apps electronically - I don't get it!

Post by caribwonder » Tue Nov 30, 2010 11:15 am

OK - possibly another stupid question, but I am having trouble understanding what is meant by signing these forms electronically (forgive me, I live in the Caribbean, we are technologically backward :P )

I can see where there is the blue space on the date line for me to enter that, and I have, but where my name is supposed to be signed "electronically" it will not allow me to click in that box or add anything whatsoever.

How do I do it?? I presume that by submitting electronically it does not mean printing it out, signing my name with a pen and faxing it? :?:

Thanks guys

If you see the fine print somewhere in the application or the instructions or their website, it will say that submitting the application online is equivalent to signing it electronically. So do not worry about not being able to type in your name. If you are able to enter the date, do enter the date though.
