Quick question here,
I'm hoping to finish all my apps by this break and send them off on Monday. You think it's getting too late in the cycle? Enough to really hurt chances? Stats: 3.74 GPA, 171 & 177 LSAT
I really should have finished this in October

By no means are you "super late" with your applications. Most of the sources I have read and talked to stated that there is nothing wrong with submitting apps in November or early December. "Super Late" is January and February. As long as your numbers are competitive for the school you are applying to you should be fine. If you are applying to a school in which your numbers are below the 25%, then I suggest you get them in very soon.

You'll be fine, probably in everywhere except HYS.

Worst case scenario is that you get a 3/4 scholarship at some places where you would have got $$$$. But I really don't think even that is a strong possibility. Get your apps out today, and you're not really late. Wait much longer, and you will be late.
I still hit schools in my range (although I did get a lot of WLs) even though I got my apps out incredibly late--we're talking February 15th in some cases. So don't stress about getting them out now as opposed to October. But do it! Do it now!

Depending on who you talk to, "on time" is either before thanksgiving or before new year's. In either case, you'll be fine if you submit on Monday- though try not to wait much longer than that.

Eh. I believe this has merit. Obviously not counting HYS and maybe one or two of CCN pending a horrendous application package with sub par personal statements and damaging LORs. Bottom line, OP should relax unless he/she is a convicted murder or illiterate. OP will get into a great school.

I'm with you. I only have a 173 though, so I was actually screwed as of mid-October.
