NYU Application Q.
Hey guys,
I'm in the middle of filling out the NYU application. Under the section that reads "term-time employment," the applications asks for "year worked." Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what exactly does that mean?
A. Freshman/Soph/Jun/Senior
B. 2008, 2009...
C. 2 years
I'm confused because in the same row, there's a section for MM/YY-MM/YY
Thanks for your help!

Re: NYU Application Q.
FWIW, I put Freshman/Junior/etc. Since I had the same job Junior and Senior year, I listed it twice with each year.

So do you mean you did something like
Sophomore '08, Junior '09 or just the Soph/Jun?
I'd initially did the soph/jun thing, but started overthinking it afterwards haha.

Senior | Job X

Re: NYU Application Q.
I wish I had added the year. Probably won't make a lick of difference but whatever.

Yeah, don't worry about it! That's a negligible difference that won't have any impact on your application. You had to indicate MM/YY for the jobs anyway, so the adcomms will have the numbers if needed.

Re: NYU Application Q.
This kind of tripped me up, too. I graduated in three years, so the freshman, sophomore, etc., demarcations don't really work for me. I think I managed to write in an explanation somewhere while still listing all of my jobs.
