I'm panicking a little about my Berkeley app because I won't be able to get it in until early December, and Berkeley's dean is quoted here as saying that applicants "...must apply early. Even though we don’t have an early decision program, the early bird does catch the worm here. And by early I’m talking about October, mid-November at the latest. "

Did anyone apply to Berkeley later than Thanksgiving and still get in?

I would say that December is pretty average. You have to consider that tons of people who will be applying this cycle will be taking the LSAT in December, and will be getting things in in early Jan. It depends on your numbers. If you don't have the numbers to get into UCB it doesn't matter when you apply.

A quick scan of LSN suggests that a Dec app is bad news at Berkeley. There's a handful of admits, but the success rate is pretty low.

Is there a way to search for applicants who applied at a certain time?

You can sort the data fields by clicking the heading at the top of a column. (LSAT, GPA, date complete etc.)

It depends on your numbers. If you don't have the numbers to get into UCB it doesn't matter when you apply.

I think that's fair...although Berkeley does seem to emphasize its "holistic approach." I think I will arm myself with some data and do a search, as suggested by TheGentleman.
