Misdemeanor
I received a 2-day suspension during my sophomore year in high school due to a fight in school. Is this considered a misdemeanor I should disclose on my application (besides this, I have never been convicted of felony or misdemeanor)?

Were you charged with anything?

Re: Misdemeanor
only if you were formally charged with something through the courts. otherwise, it's discipline from the high school, which most applications don't ask you to elaborate on or ask about.

Did the police arrest you for committing a misdemeanor offense? That is usually how one receives a misdemeanor charge.

No, my school's Vice Principal called my parents and informed them that I was to receive a 2-day suspension. That was it. No police arrest or anything. I guess it is not a misdemeanor then.
Thank you all.
Thank you all.
