Should I even apply to Harvard?
I have a 3.77 GPA, a 171 LSAT and softs that are completely average. Is it even worth spending the money to apply to Harvard?

Re: Should I even apply to Harvard?
You can (unlike probably 99% of applicants) apply with a straight face. I'm going to predict with fair certainty that you won't get in.porkbarrel wrote:I have a 3.77 GPA, a 171 LSAT and softs that are completely average. Is it even worth spending the money to apply to Harvard?
That said, in the future, will you regret not applying to find out?

Depends on what else you were planning to use that money on. I'd guess theres > 95% chance you get dinged or waitlisted but heck, if you were just planning to buy a backup copy of a video game or something, why not?

Re: Should I even apply to Harvard?
I think having a rejection letter from Harvard Law that you could frame and display would be absolutely worth the app fee. Unfortunately, I think they reject via email, so ya.....
But why not apply? Write a ridiculous PS about World of Warcraft or something and you'll have a great story to tell.

Almost your numbers twin, and I did, FWIW. Ya never know, and most of my other app fees were waived. Even Harvard might mess up and accidentally let me in?

Protip: Don't make friends with TLSers in your class, they are as awful as me, potentially worse.HopefulFish wrote:Your cycle is done. Give it a rest and go make some friends.Desert Fox wrote:No you shouldn't.
Also telling people the truth on TLS is better than LWR.

Not so annoyed that they blacklisted my transfer app, though. The Gentleman wrote:Haha. I bet they get really annoyed by those kind of requests.vanwinkle wrote:I made them send me a confirmation by snail mail.
One of these days I'm going to take the time to go get the rejection letter and the transfer-acceptance letter framed side-by-side and hang the display up on my wall.

No, it's not even worth the $12 LSAC report fee.

I have about the same numbers as you, and I'm going to apply (although I have pretty good softs). just do it, you never know. maybe your PS or LORs will be amazing. They do let people in with our numbers every year, although they've usually cured some form of cancer
