If i am at or above their Median GPA
and took the test twice 165/166 (first time i scored higher the PT avgs) 2nd time i scored lower then my PT avgs
if im able to get a 170-173 in december (and apply right when scores come out) how badly do my two earlier scores hurt me, along with applying late?

CLS says they don't consider your lower score if the difference is 6 points or more

Re: CLS & NYU IF....
There's a big difference between a 170 and a 173 at both of these schools so this is really going to yield you tons of different answers. NYU typically is less forgiving of past LSAT's, especially in your case with multiple of the same score. It'll be hard to convince them that those 2 (and not the 3rd) are the flukes. CLS might ACTUALLY be the better bet for you if you can get a 170+. Good luck.

Your GPA isn't high enough to give you much leeway on the LSAT. You'll need a 171-172 for a shot (~30% Columbia and ~50% NYU).

No one has any clue and you're going to get a wide range of answers. Score a 172+ and you have a shot at either one of them.
