Re: Where to ED
getting a fee waiver does not mean they like you, it just means they want you to apply so they can look more selective. with that being said, penn ED looks better because with a 167, your shot at columbia is slim to none. with a 170 you have a decent shot at columbia.

Re: Where to ED
This is a definite Penn situation for ED. Good luck.

Re: Where to ED
If you must ED at either UPenn or Columbia, then Penn is the obvious choice. Just make sure that the debt and the commitment are really worth it to you.

Re: Where to ED
It's too late to ED at Columbia anyway, your application needs to be completed by Nov. 15, including the mailed ED contract.

You act as if this applicant is not willing to fly across the country today to hand deliver it...im_blue wrote:It's too late to ED at Columbia anyway, your application needs to be completed by Nov. 15, including the mailed ED contract.

Re: Where to ED
I think ED to NYU could be a good choice if you hypothetically really wanted to go there and it was by far a top choice, but I think it's going to be more useful with Penn.

Re: Where to ED
I agree, ED to Penn is the best choice for you practically, but if for some reason you had some love of NYU since you were like 2, it wouldn't be a ridiculous choice. You'll do fine.
