Is it possible to apply for scholarships after submitting?

I want to take some time with a couple scholarship essays, but also want to take advantage of getting apps in early. Is it possible to apply to scholarships after completing your application (T-14)? Would that hurt in any way?

check w/ the school. check site, FAQ, maybe e-mail them.

Varies by school, best solution is to call the school and ask. If you don't tell them who you are they can't hold asking against you (though I doubt they would anyway).
