3.1/172

Post by pegger21 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 7:03 pm

I'm trying to figure out what range of schools I need to apply to. I'm thinking focusing on schools in the range of Fordham to USC, any thoughts?

3.1 GPA, LSAC is probably going to reduce this a bit, waiting for transcripts to go through

156 first time
172 second time

And I'm a white boy.

I know some will disagree with me but I think you can try for lower T14.

I'm 3.2/172 and I submitted ED to Michigan in a moment of insanity. I think the best school you could get is UVA ED. Plus, you'd find out really quickly whether you got in or not. When I get my rejection from Michigan, I know I'm submitting ED to UVA right away. They seem to really like 3.x/17x ED apps.

Out of the rest of the T14, I think GULC is worth a shot. Outside, I'd say WUSTL on down gives you a good shot.

Depends very much on whether you have above or below a 3.0. Above? ED to UVA. Below? ED to NW after a yr. of work or ED to GULC PT. Don't want to ED? Enjoy WUSTL or Minnesota.
