LSAC Evaluation Consensus

Post by compromises » Wed Nov 10, 2010 5:41 pm

Most of the schools I am applying to "recommend" 2 or 3 evaluations on top of the LoRs.

Is it suggested that I get them, or does this just mean that they will accept them? I don't want to skip something that I really ought to have done, but it doesn't seem necessary. What type of influence, if any, do you think they might put on them?

i think this is the first year that they have evaluations, so if you are going to apply this year, then i wouldnt worry about it too much. Perhaps in upcoming years people will have them instead of letters, or they are to be used by employers for people out of ug, but only time will tell
