Question (dwight shrute style):

my 2 lsat scores are 151 (sept 09) and 161 (oct 10). how much will that 151 hold me back from t20-t60 schools (gpa is 3.6)? will adcomms appreciate the improvement? i've written a solid (i think) addendum explaining the improvement.

The 161 may hold you back as well....

With a 3.6/161 you're looking at T40-80 schools unless you count Iowa which is highly overrated by USNWR.

Most schools nowadays take your highest score, since that's all that they have to report. That being said, a 161 isn't a great LSAT score for many of the t20-60 schools.

The 161 may hold you back as well....

+1, but only for the T20-60 range. You'll almost for sure be paying sticker, which is generally thought of as a bad idea.

thanks for the thoughts, and i am being i think a little optimistic with my applications. i don't really mind being waitlisted or paying sticker though
