.
This is my target school, but I didn't think UMKC did interviews. I am very unprepared, but I think the email is a good sign, as far as my chances go. I just wanted to see if anyone can give me some advice on what to expect. I am pretty nervous, as I don't want to ruin my chances by interviewing badly.
Questions I have would be like:
What should I know about the school?
Do I need to know exactly what type of law I want to go into for the interview?
What are the best questions I can ask when they ask me what I would like to know?
Where can I find the most information about the school? The actual cite for UMKC doesn't have a ton of information.
Thanks in advance. This just got me all kinds of nervous, since I was in, "cruise until I hear their decision mode", not, "get ready for an interview mode."

Know anything and everything you can. Enrollment numbers, location, clinicals that interest you, what the university has done in the past with the community. In other words, USE GOOGLE.Questions I have would be like:

No you don't need to know exactly what type of law you want to go into, but you should be sure to have a knowledge of what interests you most and why. Use your experiences to back you up
Best questions vary depending on institution. After you do your research, re-evaluate this question. We cant provide you with answers to it because then you're simply asking a generalized question and it makes you look bad. Ask questions specific to their institution and that illustrate your knowledge of that institution. Don't ask questions which have answers that lie online. DEEP RESEARCH
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGLEEEEEE!
If google fails you, which would be the end of the world....go to LinkedIN. Make an account. Cold email people from the institution. Professors, students, etc. Ask for a 20 minute phone chat and talk with them about it. Or try Facebook to target the students.

Thanks for the input. I will be sure to do that.
I want to get this all right, so I will try and learn all that I can, so I can go in confident.

Have you had your interview yet? Shortly after I submitted my application they said they would contact me in five business days to arrange a meeting. I have heard nothing back from them and it was well over two weeks ago.
Playing hard to get?

i had my interview with UMKC last week.
i was really nervous about it, but it was super chill and relaxed. In fact, they didn't ask me any questions!
they only thing they asked was "so what other questions do you have for us?"
with two people interviewing me I got two long winded answers for each question.
so just go in with some thoughtfully prepared questions and you'll be golden.
