LOR Advice

Post by ksimon2007 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 10:23 pm

I have two academic letters of recommendation, but a third professor who I am taking Con Law with will send something for me later in the game.

My question relates to two individuals who graduated from two institutions I am applying to. One is on the board of advisers at the one law school and the other is a mayor and former congressional candidate and individual of a similar background as myself. They are both going to send recommendations in, but I am not sure going through LSAC will work most efficiently.

Can I just have them send the recs to the school, but just call the schools and let them know the recommendations are coming?

Some schools require LORs sent through LSAC, and others allow LORs to be directly mailed to them.

Why don't you want to send the LOR's through LSAC's service?

In my opinion, avoid the drama and send all LOR's through LSAC.

This sounds high drama. I'm going to make popcorn.

My opinion...just send all 3 LOR's through LSAC.

Also see what others have to say about this. Good luck.
