I plan to take the December LSAT, and the score will probably come out late Dec or early Jan. I was wondering if I should submit my application before, and once the score comes out (if it's good), send my score to the respective schools.

Isn't it better to apply early without my score, so that they'll organize my application file and just put a hold on my application status?

there's no material difference. If your application is ready and perfect, you might as well submit it. If working on it for any more time will benefit you, then just wait.
