Resumes questions!

Post by pdrez » Wed Nov 03, 2010 8:44 pm

How should the resume be presented on the law school app? A lot of the schools are saying "it can be more than a page", "up to 3 pages", etc. In my experience resumes are kept to one page and include only recent employment, academic records and skills.

Does a law school application resume look different than your standard work resume when applying for jobs? What all should be listed? Should experiences such as commercial acting (which are largely left off of work resumes) be included?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

it looks like your standard work resume.. but experiences such as acting shouldn't be taken off. it doesn't have to just be stuff related to the law- put on whatever is interesting

Search for relevant discussions. Some things listed in that article are not accepted resume standards. Note it was written by someone who does not have a job.
