3.52/171 where to apply??
As the subject line states..... I have a 3.52 and a 171 (oct 10) up from a 160 (sept 09) and 163 (dec. 09). I applied the previous cycle and was waitlisted at UCLA (first choice) and Notre Dame. I spent way too much money applying to way too many out of reach schools last cycle, so I'm hoping to avoid that this time around. So where should I apply?
Thanks everyone!!

I think you have a shot everywhere outside of HYSCCN. I have a question for you though, I got a 163 in October (first try) after prepping high 160's-low 170's. How did you study for a retake and get your score up to a 171? I would probably be in where I want to go with that score (Cornell).

OP we have similar numbers, and i got a boatload of fee waivers to t-20 schools, ucla included so if money is a concern sit back and wait. outside the t-6 and berkley, the rest of the t-20 might throw a waiver your way.
if not, pick schools that don't average lsats.
if you got WL at ucla with a 3.52 and 163, and not straight up rejected, i assume you have a pretty awesome app.

I had similar stats last cycle and had a ton of waitlists. Highest ranked acceptances: Georgetown, UT-Austin, Wash U; most money: UC Irvine, Arizona, UNLV; less impressive money: Wash U; strangest rejection: Minnesotaohnowhattodo wrote:As the subject line states..... Should be in at UCLA although they do prefer high GPAs.

agreed w/ all the other posters. i think there's a good chance u'll get W/L from UCLA unfortunately cuz of the GPA, but u have legit chances at some t14 - possibly ED at a MVP?
