retaking in DEC
I scored a bit lower than my average score on the oct test.... should I take it in dec and send in my applications now, with an addendum... what are the pros and cons

Depends on what schools you want to go to, what your GPA is, what LSAT score you need to feel "safe" at your chosen schools, and you chances of actually raising your score.curly3426 wrote:I scored a bit lower than my average score on the oct test.... should I take it in dec and send in my applications now, with an addendum... what are the pros and cons
Pros: better score = better chances. That goes for acceptances as well as scholarship money.
Cons: later application = worse chances. For the same reasons mentioned above.
If you think raising your LSAT score will make you competitive enough to still get an offer after the first few rounds of acceptances go out, then by all means go for it.
BTW, if your scores arent all of that different, you wont need an addendum. I'd say if it is 6 points or more, write one.

Re: retaking in DEC
GPA 3.76 from BC
was averaging 164/165
miss-bubbled got a 160
i want to go to your BC type school (BC, BU, Fordham) - right now I could get into Northeastern, which I wouldn't hate but this is why I ask
